Midori's travels to Leavesden Studios, Cambridge and London

Hello mom! These are the pictures we took last September :D If you want to see the pictures bigger you can click on the photo then you should be able to scroll through them easier at the bottom of the screen.

Okay so firstly we went to the Harry Potter studio tour at Leavesden Studios, London. My host's friend received 2 tickets as a present so kindly invited my host and us TVs tagged along too :) They are big Harry Potter fans so we were in there over 6 hours taking photos! Then we had to leave because their camera batteries had gone flat :P

I will put captions below some of the photos however not all otherwise we will be here forever ;) If you know Harry Potter then many will be self explanatory anyway.

In order to go to the tour we went to stay with my host's friend at her house in Cambridge. We didn't get many pictures of Cambridge as it soon started to rain :( But here are a few:

In the background is King's College, one of the 31 colleges at Cambridge university

The next day the sun was back, yay! :) We took a long day trip to London, firstly stopping at King's Cross station to find platform nine and three quarters where Harry gets the train to Hogwarts. We wanted to see the Harry Potter sites in London :P However the exterior of King's cross in the film was actually filmed at St Pancreas station, which is just across the road from King's cross in real life, so we went to see that too.

Here we are in the trolley trying to get through the magical wall :P

This was the outside of King's cross in real life

Here I am going up the steps to St Pancreas

I bathed in the sun a bit :) Behind me is where the flying car zooms over the station in the second Harry Potter film.

We took the underground and got off at Westminster. Above and below is me on one of the bridges across the river Thames.

The houses of Parliament!

Big Ben :)

Admirality Arch

Admiral Nelson Statue

Trafalgar Square

Buckingham Palace

Sienna and I :)

We then jumped on the underground again and went to Camden Town. This is a rather alternative town with lots of colour and cool shops.

Dining area in front of the Canal; where we decided to have a rest ;) The motorbike chairs were  fun :P

Aaaand.... the end of our trip down South!
